NWNC Funded Neighborhood Purpose Grants

In the past four years, the Northridge West Neighborhood Council has funded the following Neighborhood Purpose Grants:

2022:

  • $5,000 Grant to Supporters of Law Enforcement in Devonshire (S.O.L.I.D.) used to renovate and re-furnish the Senior Lead Officers trailer office.  VIEW COMPLETION REPORT

2019-2020:

  •  North Valley YMCA:  Shower program, childcare efforts, and pop-up food pantry in the amount of $500.00
  • Southern California Preparedness Foundation:  Valley Disaster Preparedness Fair in the amount of $1,000.00
  • Will Kalman / Combine.la:  Production of PPE face shields in the amount of $500.00
  • Northridge Hospital Foundation:  to support the Center for Assault Treatment Services (CATS) in the amount of $2,500.00
  • GHCHS Robodox:  $2,500.00
  • Nobel Middle School PTSA:  Tovey Run in the amount of $1,000.00
  • North Valley Family YMCA:  Thanksgiving Baskets  in the amount of $1,500.00
  •  Granada Hills Community Foundation:  Granada Hills Street Faire in the amount of $1,000.00

2020-2021:

  • North Valley YMCA:  Thanksgiving Baskets in the amount of $1,500.00
  • SOLID:  NPG in the amount of $1,000.00

2021-2022:

  • SOLID:  Devonshire PD in the amount of $5,000.00
  • GHCHS:  Robodox in the amount of $2,000.00
  • Volunteers Cleaning Communities in the amount of $1,500.00
  • Nobel Middle School:  Parent Center in the amount of $2,000.00
  • North Valley YMCA:  Thanksgiving Baskets in the amount of $2,000.00
  • Granada Hills Comm. Foundation:  Parade & Fair in the amount of $1,000.00

2022-2023

  • North Valley YMCA:  Thanksgiving Baskets in the amount of $2,500.00
  • Friends of west Los Angeles Safety Fair in the amount of $500.00
  • Topeka Elementary School:  EnrichLA in the amount of $1,000.00
