LA County has approved a $1.22 billion CARES Act spending package to fund a broad range of essential services and relief measures to assist County residents and businesses affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

The LA Regional COVID-19 Recovery Fund will deploy $3 million in grants available at $5,000 or $15,000 to micro-entrepreneurs, small businesses, and 501(c)(3) non-profits. There are 6 total rounds, with finalists notified after each round. Round 2 is now open through July 24th.

Northridge West Neighborhood Council has commissioned 7 utility boxes to be painted in our community.  Community members submitted their votes for their favorite designs.  Voting ended 7/20/20.

Northridge West Neighborhood Council is coordinating with volunteers to make 250 fabric masks for the Northridge Recreation Center homeless facility, LAPD Devonshire Division and the San Fernando Valley Mission Food Pantry. We have donated medical masks to the hospital and funded key efforts in our community.
