DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday between 10 am to 2 pm\, gather your citrus and bring it to our Community Citrus Harvest Drive-Thru at the CD12 Constituent Services Center (9207 Oakdale Ave\, Chatsworth). This is a hands-free process\, so please leave the citrus in your trunk. Staff will retrieve it upon your arrival. The fruit will be distributed to local food pantries. \nIf you are unable to drop off your citrus\, please email councilmember.lee@lacity.org and we will make arrangements to pick up your bags/boxes. If you are unable to harvest your citrus\, another option would be to contact “Food Forward” they have the resources to assist in the harvesting & donate the citrus to a local food pantry.
