DESCRIPTION:You are invited to the Feria de Educaciòn 2016 on Saturday\, October 15\, 2016 at California State University\, Northridge (CSUN).  Hosted in collaboration with broadcast television network\, Univision\, and the CSU Chancellor’s Office\, this event is the largest Spanish-language education fair in Southern California.  Each year\, the event welcomes thousands of families and offers invaluable resources to help them get the most out of their children’s education experiences\, from pre-kindergarten to college. \nThe fair itself will include outdoor activities and entertainment\, reading rooms\, free K-12 books\, and workshops in financial aid\, college prep\, areas of student\, health and wellness\, and more.  Additionally\, the event hosts a town hall meeting discussing topics of education and public interest.  Through this event\, our campus is expected to host up to 10\,000 visitors of all ages from the San Fernando Valley\, Antelope Valley\, Ventura County\, and the Los Angeles Basin.  Please find attached “Save the Date” flyers for this event. \nHere is a general timeline of the day’s activities for your reference: \n9:30 – 10:00 am                Opening Ceremony/Ribbon Cutting \n10:30 am – 3:00 pm         Informational Presentations/Town Hall Meetings\nBooths\, Educational Information Tables\, and Family Activities \n12:00 pm – 3:00 pm         Book Give-Away
