Seeking Individuals Interested in Participating in the Aliso Canyon Disaster Health Research Study’s Community Engagement Support and Advice Network

UCLA is currently conducting a comprehensive health study to assess the short- and long-term effects of the 2015-2016 gas blowout disaster.  (Aliso Canyon Disaster Health Research Study).  It is a five-year study that began in December 2022 and will end October 2027.

As part of this important work, UCLA is forming a network of community members to optimize outreach, communications, and engagement with the community. The network is called the Community Engagement Support and Advice Network (CESAN). The community’s valuable insights and participation in the CESAN will significantly contribute to the Study’s success.

If you are interested in joining the CESAN, we would greatly appreciate if you could let us know by completing the prospective participant form prior to November 6, 2023. A member of the California State University Sacramento team will contact you to further review the CESAN’s needs and guidelines.

Please feel free to email Julia Csernansky at  with any questions.
