Council District 12 Citrus Community Harvest

Council District 12 invites you to drop off your extra citrus during our CD12  Citrus Community Harvest. We welcome donations of citrus, all of which will be given to local food pantries to help feed needy families.

Our collections take place each Tuesday (from 10am to 12pm)  until the end of June. To participate, gather your citrus and bring it to our Community Citrus Harvest Drive-Thru at the CD12 Constituent Services Center (9207 Oakdale Ave, Chatsworth). This is a hands-free process, so please leave the citrus in your trunk. Staff will retrieve it upon your arrival.

If you are unable to drop off your citrus but would still like to make a donation of fruit, please contact us and we can make arrangements to have the fruit picked up. We are working this year with Grow. Gather. Give., a local volunteer organization that is dedicated to gathering fruit in the community and making sure it gets delivered to our local food pantries.

For questions about the Citrus Harvest, please feel free to email , or contact Matthew Vallecilla at 818-882-1212.

Don’t let your good fruit go to waste, donate them and make someone’s day.
