Announcing Council District 12’s Military Service Banner Recognition Program

This program was created by Councilmember John Lee in partnership with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2323.  The CD12 Hometown Heroes Program recognizes and honors CD12 military service members of the US Armed Forces.  Street banners will be designed, printed and installed with a photo, name, and branch of the military for a period of one year to honor the heroes of our community and recognize their service to the nation.

Please share this information with friends, family, and the community to inform them of this great opportunity to honor our US Military heroes for their service to our country.

Applications are due May 1, 2021.

Please make $250 check out to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2323, and send check and application to the following address:
Councilmember John Lee’s Office
Attn: Matthew Vallecilla
