Porto’s Plans to Come to Northridge

Chatter on Nextdoor and other social media has included a lot of speculation about a Porto’s opening in Northridge or Porter Ranch in the past few months. The Daily News published an article May 1, 2019 that Porto’s is negotiating on a lease to open in the Sears Auto Center building located in the parking lot of the Northridge Fashion Center. As of that date the contract was not signed, but Porto’s is planning to be somewhere in Northridge.

The Daily News quotes:

Pamela Bolin, a resident of Northridge and president of the Northridge West Neighborhood Council, said she usually travels all the way to Glendale and Burbank to shop at her favorite bakery.

“I’m delighted to see Porto’s coming to our neighborhood,” she said.
