Northridge West Neighborhood Council-Sponsored First Aid & CPR Training Was a Success!

Thirty-plus Northridge West Stakeholders completed First Aid – CPR Training. Instructor Stacy Gerlich did an awesome job of focusing the class on learning and understanding the skills necessary to help save the life of a family member, co-worker, relative, friend, or neighbor. She maintained the attention of each student with her fast-paced and in-depth training techniques. Each student was required to understand the steps, number of compressions, the reasoning, and the proper form for performing CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver, in addition to being able to create and apply a splint.

As one student stated: Stacy taught me about the laws and methods and was amazing, thorough, excellent, personable, and a great teacher!
