Super King Market replaces a Gelson’s that closed in February
Super King Market, bringing 200 jobs to the area, is scheduled to open its newest branch in Northridge today.
The official ribbon cutting is planned for next Friday, according to store officials.
The new store replaces a Gelson’s market at 19500 Plummer St. which closed in February.
Super King Market, a family owned and operated company, first opened its doors in 1993 in Anaheim. Since then, Super King Market has expanded to the communities of Los Angeles, Altadena, Claremont and now Northridge.
