Matthew VallecillaMy name is Matthew Vallecilla, I am a third generation Northridge resident and UCLA graduate. My grandparents moved to Northidge in the 1960s, my father and uncles grew up here playing little league and Pop Warner and I attended the same neighborhood schools that my father went to. I am happy to call Northridge my home and would like nothing more than to have the opportunity to play an active part in keeping my community a safe, clean, ideal place for people to live and raise families. I would be honored to have your vote and if elected, I promise to work hard to promote projects that improve Northridge streets, remove graffiti and overgrown brush while also finding ways to save the council money by eliminating waste and promoting more efficient spending of allocated funds. |

Gerry MalaisI am running for re-election to continue the progress we’ve during my term as President of the NC. |

Justin RichardsonMy wife and I have lived in Northridge for over 25 years, we raised our six children in Northridge; they attended local public schools from elementary school thru high school. Though we do live in a wonderful community we do face challenges such as traffic flow and crime to mention two. I realize that the neighborhood council has very limited authority to solve problems, but I also know that by being actively involved I can help make a difference where it counts, here at home. I look forward to serving our community as one of the Northridge community representatives. Justin Richardson |

Pamela GentryI was born and raised in the SF Valley, graduated UCLA, was a City Hall reporter for a local newspaper and subsequently worked for a City Councilman focussing on environmental issues as an administrative assistant. After leaving to produce talk shows at KABC radio, I ultimately devoted myself to a career in conflict resolution with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. Throughout, I volunteered on city committees wherever I was, including the economic development commission in Alameda, California, during the closure of the Alameda Naval Air Station, represented Alameda for 15 years of lawsuits and negotiations to a successful conclusion mitigating the noise over Alameda due to the expansion of the Oakland Airport. My philosophy and vision is proactive leadership thru vision, strategic planning and community input. The best resource is the community the Board represents. |
