Valley Water Expo on April 22, 2010

A Valley Water Expo is planned for Thursday, April 22, 2010 (Earth Day) at the Balboa Sports Center, 17015 Burbank Boulevard.

The Expo is being hosted by the Encino Green Committee and co-sponsored by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and the Encino Neighborhood Council.

Further Details

The purpose of the Valley Water Expo is to raise awareness throughout our community on the current water crisis through:

  • Education – on the drought in California and the U.S.
  • Implementation – of what can be done to reduce water
  • Conservation  – is possible through change and new tools
  • Saving Money – is viable with knowledge and change

Table Presentations: 6:00 p.m.  (vendors of water saving devices and non-profits) set up in the lobby or outside in the front as one enters the Center

Speaker Presentations: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
There will be an opportunity for questions and answers after the presentations
