Operation Clean Sweep – Week 33

To all Northridge Stakeholders:

You are all invited this Saturday 2/26/11 (7AM to 10AM) to join Northridge West Neighborhood Councils sponsored Operation Clean Sweep along the east side of Corbin Street between Mayall to Vintage Streets in Northridge.

The mission will be to continue clearing the path of travel along the sidewalks, gutters, and parkways while removing all the debris from the catch basins that has accumulated. The team should be back to full strength with the return of Paul Bunion and his mighty chain saws so be prepared to have fun and to rock and roll with the crew of Northridge.

So grab a friend, neighbor, girlfriend, boyfriend, football buddy, or better yet Nascar Driver (Even if they rooted for Dale Earnhardt Jr) who would be interested in helping improve our community by coming out and joining us as we build our team of dedicated volunteers committed to having fun, meeting new people and making Northridge a cleaner, greener and safer community to live, learn, work and play. Parking will be on Mayall Street along the east side of Corbin Street north of Devonshire Street. We will be starting around 7AM and meeting on the north-east corner of Corbin & Mayall Streets to review the work plan and discuss how Trevor Bayne the younest Nascar Driver to become the 7th driver to earn his 1st Daytona 500 win while sipping hot chocolate & coffee, while enjoying fresh baked donuts, bagels and brownies. Please contact me if you have any questions or need directions.
